The Pemberton development, on the Herbert Road in Bray, is close to the N11/M11. There are many public transport options available. You can choose from Bus, Dart, or feeder to Luas. It’s your choice.
The seaside town of Bray has a population of approximately 33,000. It is ideally located close to the city of Dublin. It is also near the Wicklow mountains and countryside. A walk on the seafront promenade is a great way to start or end any day.
Head north for the city of or head south and you are into rural County Wicklow – the garden county.
A good brisk 25min walk over the N11 on a pedestrian bridge and you are at Powerscourt House and Gardens https://powerscourt.com/house/, with it’s world famous gardens, distillery, house and river walks. To the south west of Bray, you have Kilruddery House https://killruddery.com/ gardens and farm – with it’s outdoor market and shops.
Three minutes drive takes you to Kilmacanogue to the shops at Avoca, or head on to Glendalough just 30 mins drive or 22 mins to Luggala (Guinness Lake).

Bray was recently (2021) listed as one of the top 20 places to live in Ireland (source Irish Times). It offers unique access to the sea, forests, and hills. The short commute to Dublin makes it a distinctive choice. It is ideal for those choosing a place to live or bring up a family.
Key developments like Carrickmines, Sandyford and Dundrum are all within 10 to 15 minutes drive. There are abundant local schools from non-fee paying (Loreto and Presentation College) to some of the top fee paying schools in Leinster (St. Gerards).
Shoppers are well catered for, both locally and in nearby Carrickmines and Dundrum. New Supervalu and Lidl stores opened in 2021. Additionally, a new Bray town centre shopping area with a Penneys and Sports Direct opened in 2024.
The Mermaid Arts Centre on the Main Street hosts many theatrical and music events.
Bray has an eclectic mix of restaurants and some great pubs and gastro-pubs. The Harbour Bar is world famous and North Wicklow also boast a local distillery (Fercullen) and craft brewers (Wicklow Wolf and OBrother).
The Bray https://www.bray.ie seafront has been famous since Victorian times. It is known for swimming, amusements, and dining experiences. You can also take the renowned Bray-Greystones cliff walk to nearby Greystones. Greystones offers many restaurants, pubs, and a marina.
Particular attractions include the Annual Bray Airshow. This event attracts 100,000 to the beach. The Jazz Festival is hosted around various venues in the town.
Sports fans have many options. There are great local clubs and societies. They range from Bray Emmets to Bray Wanderers.
You are 20km to Dublin city centre but on the doorstep of the sights and sounds of County Wicklow. Why not have easy access to both!
